About Me
I’m a multi-hyphenate artist, muralist, educator, curator and creative entrepreneur working in the realms of visual art, public/community arts and design. My art practice includes drawing, painting, mural and public art installation, printmaking and design (print, web, textiles). With a focus on figuration, organic forms, vibrant color and cultural patterns I create transformative public artwork guided by community engagement and exploration of identity and history. My commissioned works live in the collections of University Maryland Medical Center, UMS School of Virology, Denver Urban Arts & Venues, Baltimore Office of Promotion and Arts, and Baltimore Department of Parks and Rec.
I have also worked as an educator and coordinator for visual arts programming for over 15 years; serving youth and adults through curriculum writing, teaching partnerships, and mural apprenticeship programs with the Baltimore City Public School System, The (Baltimore) Mayor’s Office for Employment & Development, The National Museum of Ceramic Art, Jubilee Arts Center, Enoch Pratt Free Library and the McDonogh School.
