The mural honors the rich history of Northeast Philly’s Oxford Circle neighborhood. The composition features portraits of community members while exploring the ”continuum” of ethnic/cultural movement through time. From the original inhabitants (represented by the Lenape beadwork pattern on the left) to the uniquely vibrant cultural diversity of today. Commissioned by MuralArts Philadelphia.
