Recipient of the 2018 Lots Alive Project Grant. Each hand embodies a symbolic tool for creating strong communities: determination, education, growth, creativity, peace and active building. Baltimore Office of Sustainability’s outdoor community art program, Lots Alive supports the creation of outdoor artworks sited on vacant lots along Park Heights Ave. Designed in partnership with the Baltimore Green Network, Lots Alive aims to breathe life into underutilized vacant spaces through creative interventions.
